Elizabeth Schultz is the incumbent Fairfax County School Board Member for the Springfield District and Candidate for re-election to represent residents living in Springfield, Chantilly, Burke, Fairfax Station, Clifton, and Lorton.

Elizabeth is proud to be the mom of four boys who are currently or were students  in our public schools, are FCPS graduates and the older three of whom are all Eagle Scouts.

Due to experiences of fellow residents in her community and as a mother of students, throughout her tenure she has tirelessly advocated for transparency in the Board’s work, a focus on neighborhood schools, a culture of responsiveness, teacher compensation and reforms to the Discipline Policy, including Parental Notification.

As a former and Senior Manager of Contracts and Negotiation professional, she has served in the federal, nonprofit and private sectors for Fortune 200 companies and federal contractors in the areas of asset management, information technology and global education. She has also been an entrepreneur and small business owner/consultant.

Elizabeth is the daughter of a U.S. Navy Captain, and lived throughout the United States, traveled extensively, attended Fairfax County Public Schools at times depending upon their family’s duty station, and graduated from high school in San Diego, California.

Elizabeth and her husband Brian have been married for 28 years, are both graduates of James Madison University, parishioners at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, have been active serving and supporting youth athletics and Boy Scouts, and reside with their boys in Clifton, the best small hometown in America!
